CORE VALUE #5 - Volunteering for Two Great Causes
Hisshonians will be volunteering to help serve a holiday meal on Thanksgiving Day at the Charlotte Rescue Mission. This organization provides residential programs for over 450 homeless, jobless men and women with alcohol and drug addiction issues. For more information, please visit their website at www.charlotterescuemission.org.
Also, Wednesday, December 7 will find Hissho volunteers at Classroom Central on busy stocking shelves with donated school supplies. Classroom Central equips students to effectively learn by collecting and distributing free school supplies. Functioning as a Free Store for teachers, Classroom Central serves as an invaluable resource for area students and classrooms. Visit their website if you'd like to get involved or donate, at classroomcentral.org.
